Godly Play
Children have an innate sense of the presence of God. The Godly Play approach helps them to explore their faith through story, to gain religious language and to enhance their spiritual experience though wonder and play. Based on Montessori principles and developed using a spiral curriculum, the Godly Play method serves children through early, middle and late childhood and beyond.
Community Engagement
Located at the heart of Sackville we seek to bring love to all that we offer to the community. Members of Sackville United Church can be found serving at the Food Bank, volunteering in prison, visiting in hospitals, and serving on various groups and committees in the greater Sackville area. As we follow the Way of Jesus we seek to love our neighbours in all we do! And yes, we do love a good parade!
Seekers Study Group
Sackville United Church, as a progressive community of faith is always offering opportunities for learning and deeper reflection. The Seekers Study Group meets on Sunday mornings at 9:30AM to engage in dialogue and discernment as they explore a topic of current concern with an author's recent work.
Pastoral Care
Pastoral care is the act of coming alongside another in times of struggle and celebration. Our Minister is always ready to meet people where they find themselves and walk the journey with them. If you would like some assistance in discerning a next-step or find yourself needing a companion in your grief or current struggle, please reach out. All care is offered in complete confidence. And yes, Rasta can usually be found anywhere Lloyd is!
A Community Space
Not only do our people contribute to our Mission and Ministry - but so too does our building. Sackville United, located in the heart of the community is a warm, welcoming and convenient place where many community groups gather... and we like to think we can always make room for one more!.
