FOOD BANK SUNDAY: Next Sunday, August 21 is Food Bank Sunday for the month. We are asked to bring our offerings of non-perishable food items to help address the immediate needs of our neighbours and friends, even as we continue to address the larger, underlying issues surrounding long-term food insecurity.

JENNIE’S SUMMER HOLIDAY: Jennie is on holiday from August 3-17 to attend a family wedding in Edmonton. Because of this, office hours will change for the week of August 15-21 (open Friday instead of Wednesday). For any general inquiries while Jennie is away, please contact Judith Colwell at 536-0408. Jennie will also be able to check email occasionally while away for more detailed inquiries.
MONCTON PRIDE WEEK: Moncton Pride Week runs from August 13-21 this year, culminating in the pride parade on Saturday August 20 beginning at 1pm on Main St, Moncton. As an affirming conference and presbytery, we are invited to show our support (and, in the case of many of us, belonging) to these celebrations of diversity and acceptance.
