Pride Parades and Blueberry Farm BBQS!

Updated: Jun 14

Rev. Lloyd rides a tractor pulling a float with rainbow flags and a cross. Cheering people walk behind him.

We are so happy to share in community with you!

Here are two event happening this weekend!

Cumberland Pride Parade

This Saturday June 15th, join in the fun as we gather at Lloyd’s home (2 Fleming St, Amherst NS) at 12pm to decorate our pride float.  This will be followed by a gathering downtown (54 Victoria St, Amherst) at 1pm to prepare for the parade, which begins at 2pm.  The parade route is shorter than it has been in previous years, so should be less taxing on those who wish to participate but who have more limited mobility.  All ages and abilities are welcome!

Chill & Grill Sunday Gathering at Trueman’s Farm

Join us this Sunday June 16th at 11am for a new kind of Sunday gathering!  Indoor(ish) worship with keyboard and guitar (and our best efforts at livestreaming for our online church family) will be followed at 12pm with a BBQ.  You are invited to bring salads and beverages, with burgers & hotdogs (veggie options available) and ice cream provided.

Young people in attendance will have their admission fees to the activity area  and/or train covered as part of a celebration of our youth!

Please use the signup sheet here to enter information about your food and ticket orders so we know how much to prepare!  There is a second page if the first is already full - just scroll down!
